Jim Seckel, PE, CEM, CxA, CBCP

Mr. Seckel is a nationally recognized leader and innovator in the building commissioning industry.  With 24 years of experience in the management and execution of commissioning services, he is one of the nation’s longest-tenured commissioning providers. He has led some of the most significant healthcare and research commissioning projects in the country, including projects over 1M square feet.  He was one of the founding members and former leader of Smith Seckman Reid’s Commissioning business, a perennial top 15 ranked ‘CSE Commissioning Giants’ firm with annual revenues over $13M.  He is a ‘hands-on’ commissioning provider, known for his skill in on-site functional testing and troubleshooting, in addition to his ability to train and coach several engineers and technicians new to the industry who have gone on to become commissioning business leaders.

Jim earned his degree in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy and served as a captain in the U.S. Army for five years. He and his wife live in Tennessee and have one daughter. In his free time, Jim enjoys hiking, long-distance running, and walking his dog.

Jim Ennd

James P. Ennd, CxA, CMC brings over 40 years of experience specializing in commercial, healthcare, and government facility commissioning, ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations and ASHRAE standards. With training in Armstrong Tiers 1-5 hydronic and chiller plant service and controls, his expertise spans major projects and optimizing system performance for mission-critical facilities. A Certified Commissioning Authority, CxA, and Certified Mechanical Contractor, CMC, Jim leads design reviews, commissioning plans, and system performance testing. 

In addition to his extensive training and certifications, Jim also possesses a U.S. Coast Guard 100-ton Master Captain's license. When he’s away from work, Jim enjoys boating, woodworking, and traveling with his wife. Above all, he holds God and country most dearly.

Dr. Rich Diddams

Dr. Rich Diddams, DBA, CxA, SHRM-CP, contributes over 40 years of experience in commissioning and over a decade at SIRIS Cx, bringing extensive knowledge that ensures critical infrastructure operates reliably and efficiently. Rich has served and led numerous large and complex projects, spanning many states as well as international projects in the Middle East and Central Asia. Reaffirming his commitments to the industry are his certifications as a Certified Commissioning Authority, CxA, Project Management Professional, PMP, ASIS International and LEED Green Associate. 

Rich is rooted in Christian values and motivated by his 20 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer. In addition to his commissioning duties, he is the sitting Dean of the School of Business and Assistant Vice Provost at Liberty University.

Todd Sanders

Todd Sanders, PE, FAC-P/PM began his career with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Senior Resident Engineer for the Office of Construction & Facilities Management. During his tenure, he ascended to Project Manager and later Regional Director. In 2023, his 34-year career led him to SIRIS, where his expertise in managing facilities design, construction management, design documentation, bid packages and evaluation, and interpretation of industry standards, quickly advanced him from Healthcare Sector Director to VP of Operations in 2025. 

In addition to a degree in Petroleum Engineering, Todd is also a Licensed Professional Engineer, PE (Civil) and Certified Program/Project Manager, FAC-P/PM. He and his wife reside in Minnesota, where they raised their four daughters.
